Privacy policy

This site collects information needed to run the newsletter, answer messages from the contact form, understand basic site usage and keep the service secure.

Data controller

The data controller is Natalia Kawa, Natalia Kawa Creates (Polish tax ID, NIP: PL6772520777), Kraków, Poland. Contact: [email protected].

Signup is optional. With your consent, we store your email address, chosen language, signup date and location, and the version of your consent. This information is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV and, when email delivery is enabled, in Cloudflare Durable Objects and Simplebytes (mail.simplebytes.com) to manage signup and Natalia Kawa’s newsletter. No separate email confirmation is required. Each newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not sell email addresses. After a successful signup, the email address is also sent to OpenPanel as the analytics profile identifier to measure signups and later site actions.

Analytics

We use OpenPanel to measure page views, visit duration, entry sources, browser and device information, approximate location, and basic site actions: searches without saving the phrase, recipe filtering, newsletter signups and contact-form submission. We send an email address to OpenPanel only after a successful, consented newsletter signup. We do not send contact messages or search terms to analytics, and do not use session replay or advertising. OpenPanel runs without analytics cookies and does not retain raw IP addresses. We honour the browser Do Not Track setting. OpenPanel privacy policy.

Contact form

Messages from the contact form (name, email address, message, chosen language, sending date and consent version) are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV only so they can be answered. The IP address is not stored. Messages are deleted automatically after 12 months; you can ask for earlier deletion by emailing [email protected].

Withdrawing consent and deleting your data

Subscription management takes place outside this website. Newsletter emails will include an unsubscribe link. You can also email [email protected] or contact Natalia through her Instagram profile to request access, correction or deletion. @natalia.kawa

Cookies

This site does not use cookies. OpenPanel does not set analytics cookies.

Browser storage (localStorage) holds only two pieces of information: whether you closed the newsletter popup (with the date, so it stays hidden for 30 days) and whether your newsletter signup succeeded. They contain no personal data, are never sent to the server and are not used for tracking. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

Spam protection

Spam protection uses a hidden field and request limits; Cloudflare uses the IP address to limit abuse, but we do not store it in the newsletter database.

Signup information is kept until consent is withdrawn or the newsletter is discontinued.
